Hindostan sharpening stones are used for sharpening knives on Hapstone knife sharpeners. Hindostan stones are mounted on high-quality aluminum blanks.

Hindostan stones are mined in the state of Indiana in the United States. Hindostan is sandstone with estimated grit 3000 JIS.

Hindostan is preliminarily lapped and does not require lapping after purchase. Hindostan stones should be used with water or oil as a lubricant.

Hindostan stones may have dark spots and slight natural imperfections.
