Suehiro SKG sharpening stones are used for coarse sharpening knives on Hapstone
Suehiro SKG is the middle range line of sharpening stones by Suehiro. Suehiro stones are made of aluminum oxide with the vitrified binder.
All Suehiro stones are 5 mm thick and are mounted on high-quality aluminum blanks.
SKG stones are universal and can be used to sharpen knives of any steel including high carbon, vanadium, and chromium steels. Stones are preliminarily lapped and do not require lapping after purchase. Suehiro should be used with water as a lubricant. Soak Suehiro ax in the water for 5 minutes before use. Never store stones in water. Never dry near heat.
